We offer one-day, two-day, or multi-day skipper training courses and teambuilding combined with sailing courses on the sailboat named Ahil (Bavaria 35 match). The program is tailored to your preferences, skill level, and group size. The maximum number of participants is six. For multi-day courses or events on the Slovenian coast, accommodation on the sailboat in Marina Izola is possible, where the sailboat is docked.
The Ahil sailboat belongs to Bavaria's sport-oriented series of sailboats, offering a great balance between sailing performance and crew comfort. It is suitable for cruising as well as participating in regattas. The boat is characterized by a sleek hull, high sides, long waterline, and open stern. The 35-foot sailboat has a modernly designed keel that reaches almost to a depth of 2 meters, a modern rudder, and a narrow waterline. The sailboat can accommodate up to six people.
One-day trips or teambuilding events. They take place within up to 20 NM from Izola (e.g. Grado, Trieste, Piran, etc.).
Program: Introduction to the sailboat, basics of departure and docking, basic sailing course, teambuilding with sailing, arrival at the destination, visiting the destination or anchoring and swimming, return to Izola. The maximum number of participants is six.
The events take place at destinations up to 30 NM per day.
Program: Introduction to the sailboat, basics of departure and docking, basic sailing course, teambuilding and sailing, arrival at the destination, mooring, visiting the destination, sleeping on the sailboat, next day destination (optional), return to Izola. The maximum number of participants is five.
The training takes place on the Slovenian coast. Program: Introduction to the sailboat, critical parts of the sailboat, familiarization with the engine, critical parts and maintenance of the engine, basics of departure and docking, mooring, buoy docking, basic sailing techniques, upwind, broad reach, downwind, and man overboard procedure. The maximum number of participants is six.
Two-day skipper training takes place on the Slovenian coast.
Program: How to lease a sailboat and typical lease traps, introduction to the sailboat, critical parts of the sailboat, familiarization with the engine, critical parts and maintenance of the engine, voyage planning, basics of departure and docking, mooring, buoy docking, anchoring, side docking, basic sailing techniques, upwind, broad reach, downwind, sailing with a spinnaker, and man overboard procedure. The maximum number of participants is six.
Multi-day skipper training includes a trip to a desired destination.
The program is like the two-day skipper training. However, participants independently plan the voyage and overnight stays with the help of the instructor and participate in multi-day tasks on the sailboat. The program and destination are tailored to participants preferences and skill levels. The maximum number of participants is five.
Participation in regattas (e.g. Slovenian Coast Cup, Barcolana, Vis Regatta, etc.).
Program: Departure to the destination, training before the regatta, participation in the regatta, return. The choice of regatta is based on your preferences. The number of days depend on the destination. At least the knowledge from a two-day skipper training is expected. The maximum number of participants is six.
